Do you remember a while back there was this footage of Hayden Panettiere caught in some dolphin documentary drama? Well, it's finally out. It's called The Cove and it's hardcore. Basically these guys went in to this small town and secretly, commando style, documented the slaughtering of innocent dolphins.
The film was directed by Louie Psihoyos who is in Japan this week promoting the film and has said he will give the profits from the screenings to the town- if they end the annual hunt. Be sure to check out the trailer, but I must warn you, it's gruesome. And infuriating.

Luke and Kelly have a show out for MTV. They're so cute together. Ah..to be young and in love. (Can you imagine?) Check it out!

You may recognize Request Model's latest find Stephen Novak from Steven Klein's epic story for last month's Vogue Homme Japan (or not). But one thing's for sure, you're going to be seeing a lot more of this 18 yr. old from Dallas. He's way chill.

I'm sure by now everyone's aware of how many fakes there are on Facebook. I totally get that fans wanna do profiles for their favorite models, however, many go the extra mile and actually email as, and pretend to be, that person. Which is, a little weird. However, I have developed my own fullproof way of figuring out who's who.
It's pretty simple really. Next time you get a request from Stam, Tyson, Sasha or Parker...just give 'em a little quiz. Like where you were when you celebrated their last b-day..or who you were with when you recently ran in to them on the street...or who the photographer was they were shooting with when you met on-set for the first time. The success rate is pretty high. Most don't get back.
COACD's got 10 new faces from this season. For all you model watchers out there.

I'm so retarded. I just got an email asking why Cole's video ended so abruptly(?) So I logged on to investigate, only to discover that, yes, only half of the video uploaded to YouTube. (Ugh.) So, if you're a Cole Mohr fan and wanna see more, here you go. And just ignore the post below. I'm only leaving it up cause it's a cute shot of Luke.

Okay so, yes I'm crazy busy these days with no time to blog, but I figured since I got so many comments and emails from people wanting to see Cole's footage from backstage Marc by Marc, I'd get it up pronto. It's tons of little fast snippets (he was all over the place) of Cole, basically, being Cole. He always makes the backstage fun so I figured who better to pass off the cam to.

So Canon sponsored me with a digital cam this season, for quick backstage video action. I think Cole had more fun with it than I did. Video to come!

Most of you don't know her name, and chances are many of you have never even seen her face. However, I guarantee, all of you will soon know Request Models' Emily DiDonato. This 18 year old from upstate (who's first job was a contract for Maybelline followed by being chosen as the new face of Guess for SS 09) has now peaked the interest of the fashion world, with her debut in Paris exclusively for Givenchy. She's gonna be EVERYWHERE, you watch.
I had no idea my buddy Michelle Lindsay over at Paper Mag and her boyfriend Robert James had a clothing store. Right here in the LES no doubt! Located at 72 Orchard St., By Robert James specializes in fashion for the designer set, yet maintains accessibility for the average Joe. (Or as I like to say, fashion for straight guys.) Check it out!

How do I keep up with what's happening backstage in Europe? I go to my buddy Greg Kessler's blog.

Wanna see something cool? Some of you may have already seen Alexander McQueen's SS 04 "show," but after speaking with Erin Wasson over the weekend, I had to come home and YouTube it. The clip lasts about 6 minutes and at first it's sort of confusing to figure out who is what, but if you look, you can make out a few familiar faces. The second and third part are actually my fave and the interviews at the end are fun. I think it's genius.
