JD Ferguson is... Paris frustrated because the internet connection in his hotel is so bad he can't get Facebook to work and is also having to overnight all his film to New York which is putting his backstage coverage for V way behind.

...20 pounds lighter than when he arrived in Europe because it's impossible to get "breakfast" here so he starts all his days with coffee and cigs.

...still high from shooting Galliano last-night.

...frustrated after two weeks of shooting hot guys.

...sitting at a cafe typing all of this before Hermes, Raf and Margiela.

...happy Greg Kessler is here to make it all better.

Bon Voyage

Alright dudes. I'm outta here. Headin' to Europe for backstage Men's so look for me at sometime early next week. I thought I'd leave you with a little eye-candy before I take off. Check out this photo of model Jake Davies and my buddy Sebastien out for a day in the sun. How hot is that?

Aoife Wasser

Popped by Indochine the other night to party with the V crew and say farewell to one of my favorite people EVER, Aoife Wasser. Yes, my favorite "Mick" will be heading to that big Conde Nast building in the sky (I mean uptown) and serving as Teen Vogue's new Creative Director. I cannot think of a better person for the job.

Being just as shy as she is beautiful, it is near impossible to get a photo of her. So I figured I'd whip the camera out when she least expected it, which just happened to be when she opened her very own personalized going away card that designer Janice Yu had done in her honor. (One of the best I've seen.)

After a lot of tears (Anne) and loads of liquor, we all poured onto the street for the ever-elusive group shot. Aoife (E-fah) is responsible for a large part of my computer knowledge (of the Photoshop kind) and if not for her constant tolerance of my phone calls and texts, I never would've gotten this blog off the ground!

Congrats Eefs! Love ya!

The Day After

Back to Aruba! So the day after the meet-and-greet between the models and judges, we were all in pretty bad shape. Those of us that made it out of our rooms managed to crawl out onto the beach for some sun before hitting the competition that night. Played with Armani Exhange's Matthew Scrivens (J'adore) and Nicholas Lemons who was down for a little R&R (and this year's celebrity judge, as far as I was concerned). Definite highlight.

The low-point of the day was chasing New York Models' Steven Bermudez (who was a lot of fun) around the island trying to get him to flirt with me. No matter how much charm I threw his way, he would not relent. Little biotch. Kwok was there but he was NOT feeling the camera.

My little buddy Kiko introduced me to the cutest blog the other night. It's...well, for lack of a better word, titillating. Not in a perverted way. More artistic. It's like running in to Hedi Slimane on Dudetube and not just beautiful photographs but music art and illustration.

Though I'm not exactly sure what makes someone a Kraut Boy or what he even does, I can only surmise with Pelayo's face plastered on the page with "#1 Kraut Boy" next to it, it has something to do with cute boys and fun. I love it.

So I just found all these behind-the-scene shots I'd done down in Miami for Sebastian Faena's shoot with Stam, Lily and Doutzen (who I love). Producing this shoot was one of the highlights of my time in Miami and it was not only fun to hangout with some of my favorite girls and work with my hero Oribe, but spending my days poolside at the Raleigh with Sebastian and Sofia was a total treat. James and Kiko were there as well, so it was sort of a family affair.
